Hookworm (hookworm) is an intestinal parasitic worm that is caused by one of two species of nematode, Ancylostoma duodenale or Necator americanus. N. americanus is specifically human hookworm most common worldwide. Necator americanus are found in America, Sub-Saharan Africa, Southeast Asia, China, and Indonesia, while A. duodenale more in the Middle East, North Africa, India, and southern Europe
Infection is most often found in areas with warm and humid, with a level of poor hygiene. infective form of the worm is filariform form. After the worms hatch from the eggs, larvae emerge rhabditiform which will then develop into larvae filarifor.
Heavy hookworm infection can create serious health problems in newborns, children, and people who are malnourished.
The signs are infected with hookworm:
The patient became pale from lack of blood, sometimes feel sick in the stomach and beraknya contain blood. Strength of body and mind of the pain became more and more reduced. In such circumstances it can last for months.
Prevention and Handling:
